Often at work it is difficult to have the time to train due to work commitments etc. Being at home is useful in finding the peace to get things done, the down side is not having the assessor meet with you, such as meeting at the training centre.”
  • “Thanks to you for being at the end of the phone, helping me with my Maths, which has been a great help to me giving me something to take my mind off things. I also found it good to still carry my Skills for work course with the tutor who was sending me my work though emails and keeping in touch to make sure I was okay. So a big thank you to all of you.”

  • “I’ve found the ‘Watercolour Made Easy’ classes very helpful in developing my skills in using watercolour as a medium. The classes are informative, relaxed and really enjoyable. It’s great being able to meet-up with fellow artists and see the work each of us is doing. Although it would obviously be better to be in the studio I’ve found that Zoom works well .These classes have been a lifeline at a time when normal activities have been put on hold.” – Dick Graham
  • “Jo is a great teacher and always prepares exciting courses for us to develop our painting techniques. This course has focused on Japanese kimono prints which are a lovely subject for watercolour and makes for a very creative session. Our finished works are all individual and unique. I’ve learnt a great deal about the possibilities of watercolour and have greatly enjoyed the course. It is a wonderful thing to be able to continue the classes on Zoom during the quarantine and is really something to look forward to every week during these locked-down times”. – Michelle Russell
